We'd rather be running infrastructure than talking about it.
CloudZoa started because "the cloud" had become a word on a landing page instead of an actual architecture. We wanted to build the hosting company that took it literally.
Four things we won't compromise on.
Reliability
Uptime isn't a marketing number here. It's the thing we page each other about at 3am.
Transparency
Our status page shows real incidents, including the ones that were our fault.
Simplicity
Two products, clear pricing, no surprise line items on your invoice.
Human support
Every ticket reaches someone who has personally debugged a production outage.
A short history of CloudZoa.
CloudZoa founded
Started by a small group of infrastructure engineers who kept rebuilding the same hosting setup for every client project and got tired of it.
Shared Cloud launches
Managed hosting for sites and small apps, running on the same cloud platform we'd been building internally.
VM Cloud launches
Full virtual machines for customers who'd outgrown shared hosting and wanted root access without managing bare metal.
Passed 6 regions
Opened data centers in Europe and Asia Pacific after enough customers asked where their traffic was actually coming from.
8 regions, 850+ sites and servers
Rounded out coverage in South America and Oceania. Still a team small enough that everyone knows the infrastructure by heart.
